Brandi graduated from of the University of South Dakota with a degree in Community Agency Counseling. For 9 years, she served as a Brookings County Homebased court ordered therapist working with adolescents placed on probation. In 2016, she transitioned into a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients, but continuing to specialize in work with children and adolescents. Among her areas of expertise are working with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, attention deficit issues, trauma, behavioral issues and much more.

Brandi is a solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Brandi provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She works diligently with each individual ( and/or their family) to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. 

Education  Brandi received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Northern State University, majoring in Psychology.  She earned her Master's Degree in Community Agency Counseling from the University of South Dakota.  

License, Certifications  Brandi holds a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health License, which is highest level of licensure in South Dakota for Counselors.  She is also a National Certified Counselor.  

Additional Training  Brandi has received a wide variety of training over her 10 plus years of experience to include:  grief/loss, ethics, CBT and DBT therapy, depression, brainspotting http://www.brainspotting.com, and various topics in working with children and adults and many more.
